DESCRIPTION:
French, brass cased mantle regulator, with gorge style corners, and with 4 brightly colored enamel plaques, probably for the mid-eastern market, c1900
CONDITION:
the case top has a depression or dimple, probably from shipping, and could stand polishing. Three of the porcelain panels are perfect, the 4th with a tiny repair to one corner, in the blue border; shows only on close examination. Bell strike movement is signed H.P. & Co., #2605. Note hands are original; center shaft is broken off at the pin and will need attention. Ht 12"
